Dr. Patrick Drake on the ABC Television Network's "General Hospital"
Jason Thompson joined the cast of “General Hospital” in November 2005 as Dr. Patrick Drake, Noah’s arrogant yet brilliant neurosurgeon son.
This 28-year-old St. Albert, Canada native left home at the young age of 18 to find fame and fortune in the modeling industry. Soon thereafter, a respectable career in modeling and commercials – including for The Gap – allowed Thompson to pay the bills and afford to travel internationally. He admits that becoming an actor was never far from his thoughts.
In just a few short years, Thompson has built an impressive resume of theater, film and television. His theater credits include lead roles in the plays “The Academy,” “More than You” and “Jakob.” He also starred in the films “Wishmaster 4: The Prophecy” and “Divide.”
More recently, Thompson landed guest roles as a series regular on the television shows “Deep,” “Felicity,” “Zoe,” “MTV Undressed” and “Flipper.”
Thompson currently lives in Los Angeles and loves to play hockey and surf. In addition he co-owns two restaurants in Edmonton, Canada.
Robin Scorpio on the ABC Television Network's "General Hospital"
Kimberly McCullough rejoined the cast of "General Hospital" in October 2005, when the character of Robin Scorpio - now a doctor living in Paris - returns to Port Charles where she is urgently needed. Upon her arrival, she immediately finds herself crossing paths with many friends and family from her past.
Singer, dancer, actress and now director, Kimberly McCullough has been in the spotlight since the age of seven months. Born in Bellflower, California, she made her first appearance in a diaper commercial opposite Juliet Mills. As a dancer, she performed on television in "Fame," "Solid Gold" and "The People's Choice Awards." Her first feature film role was in the movie "Electric Boogaloo: Breakin' 2," and she later in other movies that include "Bugsy" and "Consenting Adults," where she played daughters to both Warren Beatty and Kevin Kline. She also has various recordings as a back-up singer in commercials and on Martika's 1980's hit, "Toy Soldiers."
McCullough originally joined the cast of "General Hospital" at age seven as the daughter of Robert Scorpio and Anna Devane. During her years on the show, the character of Robin Scorpio fell in love with street kid Michael "Stone" Cates. The sweet, teen romance struck tragedy when both characters were diagnosed HIV-positive and when Stone later died from AIDS. McCullough won two Emmy Awards for her performance. In 1997 she left the show to pursue other interests, including a stint as a student at New York University.
McCullough loves to dance and takes class regularly, and she's learning how to surf.
She currently lives in the Los Angeles area. Info Courtesy www.abcmedianet.com
